The Sail Shades are now fully installed!

We are pleased to announce that the Sail Shades are now fully installed and ready for the School to enjoy outdoor activities all year round, without being hindered by the sun’s intensity.

The Sail Shades provide not only a vibrant environment for learning and play but also significant protection from the sun’s harmful UV rays. Additionally, they create comfortable and cool seating areas ideal for outdoor activities such as picnics, allowing students to enjoy the outdoors throughout the year.

We hope that the teachers & children all enjoy the new outside space!

Fundraising

Our aim for 2023/2024 is to fund the Sail Shades for the Rainbow steps, to create a shaded outdoor space where the children can play; and enjoy outside lessons. The Sail Shades have already been installed, which means the school can make use of them during the coming summer term. Funding the sails has been our largest project to date.

The amount shown below includes funds raised in previous years, which will also be used to settle the balance for the Sail Shades (payment currently being processed). Once settled, the barometer will reset and our new target for the 2024/2025 year will be displayed.
