• I am aged 18 years or over, I am the parent/carer and I wish for my child(ren) to participate in the manor fields school association PTA Colour Run on Friday 25th May 2024 (“Colour Run”).
I agree that I and my child(ren) will participate in the Colour Run in accordance with the safety guidelines as outlined below and will follow all instructions explained by the event organisers on the day of the event.
All participants including adults and children must wear protective eyewear. This can include sunglasses, goggles, or prescription eyewear. Failure to comply with these instructions will result in participation being denied.
Participants are expected to act responsibly and safely, exhibit appropriate behaviour at all times and must follow the participant instructions that are given to them by the event organisers. They must show respect towards the other pupils taking part, the event organisers, the equipment and facilities, and not misuse the equipment and facilities in any way.
I confirm that my child(ren) is/are in good physical condition and has/have no medical impairments that may prevent them from participating in the activity. If I have any concerns about their physical condition, I will consult my doctor before participating in the activity. I understand that the circuit can be walked or ran at any pace, and it is not a race. I understand the obstacles are not compulsory and that my child(ren) may walk around them. I understand and accept that the colour powder will be thrown at and around participants during the event.
I confirm I have read the following information from Event Colour, the manufacturers of the paint powder we will be using at the event:
The colour powder is an EN71 certified safe, nontoxic powder that is made from natural ingredients (gluten free ground maise - food grade cornflour) and cosmetic dyes (EN71 certified) which are not tested on animals. The colour powder is from Event Colour and there is a risk of some staining from the powder. It is recommended that you wear clothing that you do not mind getting covered in colour paint. For further information Event Colour provide safety data here.
I agree not to bring any other colour powder to the Colour Run and will only use powder at the Colour Run that has been made available by manor fields Primary School PTA and sourced from Event Colour.
I acknowledge that participation in the activity may be physically demanding with risk of injury and that, in the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by manor fields School association, participation in the Colour Run is entirely at my risk.
• I will not be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol whilst participating in the Colour Run and will not bring alcohol to the event.
• I release manor fields school, its volunteers, its sponsors and the venue owner (manor fields Primary School) (the “Released Parties”) from any claims and liabilities, to the extent permitted by law, as a result of my presence and/or participation in the Colour Run, other than any death or personal injury caused by manor fields Primary School associations negligence. I agree to indemnify the Released Parties from any losses, damages, costs or expenses arising out of any claim brought against them by me or on behalf of my child(ren) or any third parties as a result of my or my child(ren)’s actions during the Colour Run.
• Should the event need to be cancelled, we will endeavour to find an alternative date, alternatively we will refund the cost of your tickets.
• I acknowledge that I have read, fully understood and agree to all of the terms stated above prior to signing this waiver.

Manor Fields School Association (MFSA) Manor Fields has an active Parents' Association. The Association is run by an elected committee who follow the charity commission guidelines. The committee work with the school to ensure that funds raised are spent on enriching and enhancing the pupils'education and time spent at the school.
Why do we need a Parents'Association? To help raise funds to provide extra resources and activities that the school does not always have the budget to do To provide fun activities for the parents, children and staff at the school To create a focal point for meeting other parents To have fun!
