'Magic' Mike Henry & Al Nicholls' trumpet and tenor sax collaboration revisits the swinging Texas Tenor sound of the 1940s and '50s.  A robust and sometimes raw sound which mixes the musical vocabularies of swing, bebop, blues and R&B. It's that honking, bar-walking saxophone sound that used to blast from jukeboxes from coast-to-coast!

You're sure to hear why Mike Henry has the moniker 'Magic' attached to his name as he hits the high notes! Mike has worked with a who's who of the jazz world, playing in all the major concert halls, on TV, Radio, recordings and tours.

Tenor saxophonist and arranger, Al Nicholls served his time in swing/jump-jive bands such as the legendary Big Town Playboys, Ray Gelato’s Giants and King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys.

Doors open at 7 pm with live music running from approximately 7.45 pm – 10 pm (with a 30 minute interval). 

Tables & Seating All reservations/bookings are guaranteed a seat. Seating will be in a cabaret-style format with tables. Group bookings of 6 or more will be seated together wherever possible.
