Summer Fete 2024

Further Information

Join us for an afternoon of fun at Holly Trees Primary School on Saturday 6th July between 1-4pm!

There's no charge to come in, and we have a range of activities on offer including inflatables, fair games, stalls from small businesses, sports activities from local clubs, entertainment, plus food and ice cream vendors!

Activities are ticketed and start at just 50p a try for some of the fair games!

We'll also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win some amazing prizes, and have a bar serving Pimms, wine, beer and prosecco, as well as soft drinks of course!

The fete will be raising money for our playground refresh, so please come along and have fun in the name of charity!

Please note:

  • There is no parking on site, and we politely ask that you respect the local residents and consider travelling on foot
  • No dogs or scooters are to be brought onto school grounds
  • No smoking or e-cigarettes are permitted anywhere on the school site
  • Any alcohol consumed on site must be bought from our bar, and we reserve the right on safety grounds to refuse entry or ask anyone to leave if they appear intoxicated
  • All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult

Fundraising

Last academic year (2022-2023) we raised a fantastic £21,515 for the school! We will continue to donate money raised to school for projects requested by Mrs Meacher and approved by the committee. It's likely we will continue to fund new books, and ongoing contributions to the planned outdoor play and learning initiative. This initiative aims to develop new skills, improve the wellbeing and behaviour of pupils, and provide a fun and safe outdoor learning environment.
