2024 BG Art Week started on the 11th of March and was very fun and exciting experience for all the children at Bishop Gilpin! During this week all children, from Nursery to Year 6, individually created a piece of art in class that was framed and then exhibited in inaugural BG Art Exhibition on Tuesday 26th March.
If you were not able to attend the exhibition and purchase your child’s artwork, you can do it here.
Please note you can only purchase your child/children artwork and it is one unique piece. No additional reprints available.

Every year, we aim to raise upwards of £30k, which goes towards providing facilities and equipment to advance the education of all children at the school. How this is spent each year will vary, however typically the FOBG will allocate circa £12k to the library; plus £2k to support workshops for the children and a further £2,500 for art resources.
Other funding will vary. The school will put forward funding requests, which are voted on by the committee. In the past funding has been allocated to items such as the music pod, front of school redesign, playground refurbishments and equipment.
Want to know more? Have some fundraising ideas? Come and join us at our next committee meeting!
There are currently no tasks to volunteer for
All parents/carers and staff are automatically members of The Friends of Bishop Gilpin (FOBG). FOBG fundraises to buy things that the school budget cannot afford. The Committee meets twice a term to decide on fundraising activities and also on how to spend the money raised. All parents are welcome to come along to meetings. Please come back and visit the website for up-to-date info on our events and fundraising.
