Further Information

This year we are running once more a design-your-own Christmas Card project in partnership with Schoolchristmascardproject.org.uk to raise funds for the school while encouraging creativity and artistic flair in our children!

2020 is proving to be a very different and challenging year for many families. The Christmas card project gives an opportunity to our children to create artwork that they can send to all people they care about and brighten up their Christmas!

The Christmas Card designs will be professionally printed with your child’s artwork on the front and their name on the back. Every pack of 12 cards ordered raises £1.00 for the school!

There are also gift labels, mugs thank you cards, placemats and fridge magnets available, all of which help us raise even more money!

Please make a note of correct spelling in the order if you wish to amend it on a card.

Fundraising

Every year, we aim to raise upwards of £30k, which goes towards providing facilities and equipment to advance the education of all children at the school. How this is spent each year will vary, however typically the FOBG will allocate circa £12k to the library; plus £2k to support workshops for the children and a further £2,500 for art resources.

Other funding will vary. The school will put forward funding requests, which are voted on by the committee. In the past funding has been allocated to items such as the music pod, front of school redesign, playground refurbishments and equipment.

Want to know more? Have some fundraising ideas? Come and join us at our next committee meeting!

Can you help?
