BookFest 2024

Further Information

Join us at BookFest and help us raise funds for our new School Library!

BookFest is our exciting new event which has storytelling sessions, book-themed activities and a display of Scholastic books for sale. The event is free to attend, but we're here to fundraise - so if you're able to, we've added the option to make a voluntary donation via our website. We'll also have pocket-money games, refreshments, second hand uniform and will be passing round the donations buckets, so please bring your coins. With your help we'll reach our target and open our new library sooner!

We're also delighted to announce a headline performance by Word Guerrilla who will be running two sell-out sessions in the hall. The first session is for KS1 pupils (reception, year 1 and year 2) and their families, the second for KS2 (years 3 to 6). Due to the interactive nature of the performance, we are unable to permit babies and toddlers into Word Guerrilla, however everyone is warmly welcomed to enjoy the rest of the BookFest, enjoy the free storytelling etc. A ticket fee of £1 per child/adult for Word Guerrilla applies.

Please note that a small booking fee will be added to all ticket sales. This covers the transaction fees that the PTA otherwise incurs and ensures that the whole of your £1 goes towards our new school library. Thanks for your support!

Please note - a small number of tickets for Word Guerrilla may be available on the day at £2.00 each if the events have not sold out. There are only 150 tickets per session and we expect them to be popular, so please book now!
