What is the ECS Fest Summer Ball?
This year’s festival-themed summer ball will be hosted on the 6th July 2024 in
a marquee on the school grounds to raise money for the ECSA. The ECS Fest
starts at 6.30pm and ends at 12.30am. It will be a night to remember, with
amazing food, drinks, fully stocked bar, live music, dancing, raffle, auction and
a lovely, warm farewell to some of our Year 6 students, who will help to host
the evening.
What is the dress code?
Festival, boho-chic! The last few summer balls have blessed us with glorious
sunshine, so light summer shirts as opposed to the usual black tie. But please
dress to impress in your best summer glam!
How much do tickets cost?
Tickets are priced at £70 per person.
What does the ticket price include?
Welcome drink on arrival, 2-course meal with wine and a live band. There will
be opportunity to purchase auction and raffle tickets on the evening. There will
also be some festival stalls and the chance to purchase professional photos
from our Photo Booth.
When do tickets go on sale and where are they available to purchase?
Year 6 advanced release will be Thursday 2nd May at 10am. General release
will be Thursday 9th May at 10am.
Where do I buy tickets?
Tickets will be available via the school’s ticketing site.
How many people are on each table?
Tables will seat 10.
Do I buy tickets individually or in a group?
If you know who you would like to be seated with, you can delegate one
person to buy a table for your group of 10 people. You can also buy your own
tickets and specify which table you would like to be on. Alternatively, you can
buy an individual ticket and we will allocate you a seat at a table with other ECS
parents/carers
What information do I need when booking?
If you are booking for a group, you will need each person’s full name and year
group. You will also have the option to add any dietary requirements –
vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free etc.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself! And your dancing shoes!
Can I bring my own alcohol?
This year we have a welcome drink, wine on the tables for your meal and a
fully stocked bar for any beers, wine, sprits and most importantly Jaeger
Bombs. You don’t need to bring your own alcohol.
What about dietary requirements?
We will reach out to each table to confirm dietary requirements and wine
orders for the table. There will be a vegetarian option and we will cater to
other dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free etc.)
Is there a bar?
There will be a fully stocked bar where you can use cash or card.
Where does the money go?
The profits go to the ECSA, as well as covering the cost of the marquee for the
children’s end-of-term summer parties. Last year’s profits went towards our
amazing library project.
Will we be showing the Euros quarter finals?
YES! Should England be playing on the 6th, we will find a corner to show the
football for those interested.
Who do I contact with any questions?

There are currently no tasks to volunteer for
We have two main aims within the ECSA; one is to raise funds for the school, the other is to have a good time raising these funds. The ECSA has funded small and large projects, ranging from the climbing frame in Reception to the swimming pool, computers for the computer suite and new books for the library.
