April Den & Allotment Family Day

Further Information

Join us for this gathering of Brookburn Primary families to help tidy up the outdoor areas including the school allotment, EYFS gardens, Dolphin Den, and Treasure Wood.

Our volunteer days are a great way for Brookburn families to meet and help out the school community. The sessions are casual and volunteers can do as much or as little as they like. We are happy for families to come and check out the space if you've never been.

At this volunteer day, we will be topping up the EYFS sand pit, spreading wood chip in the Den, tidying the allotment and EYFS garden beds, trimming back tree branches blocking the paths, and litter-picking.

WHAT TO BRING:
- Tools (if you have them): gloves, shovels/spades, a rake, a wheelbarrow, secateurs, pruning shears, litter pickers.
- A picnic, snack, drink, marshmallows and sausages to roast on the campfire

Children are welcome to attend, but must be supervised by parents/carers.

There is a camp toilet on-site, but no facilities.

Please meet in the allotment area accessed via the cobbled lane.

Fundraising

*EYFS Playground Fundraising Goal - 2024/2025*

We need to raise £15,000 to remove the broken EYFS playground and install a new, safer playground for our youngest students.

Email hello@brookburnPTA.com if you can help by making a donation, volunteering at a fundraiser, or for more information on ways you can get involved. Thank you!
