Whole school tea towel art project!

Further Information

Dear Parents, Guardians and Carers,

Whole school art project – tea towels

As far as we can work out, the last tea towel was produced by pupils at Wheatley Primary in 2008!

We thought it is about to time to do a new one and our children have all been carefully drawing their self-portraits, to be proudly presented on the tea towel.

It’s a great way to raise some funds for the school and any money raised will go towards the new PTA initiative - our Book Drive. You will hear more about it towards the end of the week.  The idea is that we are aiming to raise enough money to ensure that every class has a full set of the books our children get to read (known as ‘quality texts’). This will mean they don’t have to share when they are reading in class.  This will support their ability to read and (hopefully!) develop a love of books.

The tea towels will be for sale via PTA Events from Wednesday June 9th until Wednesday June 16th, priced as follows:

  • One for £5
  • Two for £9
  • Three for £12

Get them while you can – we won’t have excess stock!

We anticipate delivery during the week of July 12th. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and you class Whats App group for updates.

We hope you can support us! A great memento and maybe also a fun gift for a relative?

With thanks for your ongoing support,

Wheatley Primary School PTA
