Further Information

We are delighted to announce that we have booked a visit from Manic Ceramics on Friday 6th of March at 3.15pm.

This pottery painting session for someone special will provide children from all year groups with the opportunity to create a lovely bespoke bowl, plate or mug with a design pre planned by Manic Ceramics.

The session will be run by staff from Manic Ceramics with additional support from school.

If you are able to help, please sign up here: volunteersignup.org/XY7MJ

The cost of the session is £13.50 per item with a significant percentage of this going into the school funds.

Bookings for this event will promptly close on 1st February.  This is to allow Manic Ceramics to prepare the correct number of items.

Please note, orders can not be processed after 1st and spaces are limited.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THE EVENT WITH CASH IF THEY HAVE NOT BEEN BOOKED ON.

We hope that this is something your child will enjoy.  The more children that have a go – the more funds can be raised for Simon Balle.

If your child would like to participate, please purchase your ticket online by 1st March 2019.

If your child would normally attend Buzy Lizzies, please let them know if you book the ceramics session.

Any children who would usually be collected from Buzy Lizzies after 4/4.15pm will be returned to Buzy Lizzies when the ceramics session has ended for pick up as normal.

We expect the session to end around 4pm if one item is painted or 4.15pm if two items are painted - you can indicate choice on the order form.

Clubs will run as usual on Friday 6th, children can choose to attend as normal or can be booked on to the ceramics session at the cost of £13.50 per item.

Payment:
We currently use Stripe for processing payments, if your familiar with Paypal, Stripe does the same function but crucially the fees are less than PayPal.

Stripe is a fairly new and secure payment gateway (only 5 years old) which is growing rapidly and allows you to pay with credit / debit cards.

Like PayPal, Stripe is a certified Level 1 PCI credit card payment processor which means they adhere to the strictest security procedures and controls.

You don't need a Stripe account - you just register your cards which are linked to an email address. Crucially the fees are less than PayPal.

So the first time you pay at our checkout you will see a Stripe box pop up.

It will ask you for your email address, a password and then to select create your Stripe account.

(n.b. Once you have registered your cards with Stripe all future transactions are much quicker, you enter your email address, Stripe then sends your registered mobile a verification code to complete the transaction, easy as that)

Please note photos used are taken from the Manic Ceramic website and for illustration purpose only.
