Merfest Raffle (Saturday 22 June)
We are raising funds this year to rebuild and rejuvenate our library. We would love to renovate this area so it is more welcoming and can be used by all our children. We intend to purchase low level seating, shelving and many more books. Aside from the indoor aspect of encouraging our children to read, we would like to build an outdoor reading hut. This area will be accessible to all children during break times. We have found that many of our children become overwhelmed and don’t enjoy the noise and activity of running around. As such we wish to build a quiet area, where our children can pull out a bean bag and sit peacefully whilst reading their favourite book or magazine.
We firmly believe the more you read, the more you learn, the more you learn, the more places you will go.

Merdon Association is a registered charity. We raise money to help Merdon Junior School.
Our objective this year is a shift to a more sustainable outlook and enriching the lives of our children with our fund raising activities.
Merdon Association is run by a group of volunteer parents. We are always looking for volunteers. Being part of our PTA means that you can donate as much or as little of your time to all or some of our fund raising events. Every little helps!
