Donating to KPSA is the most effective and efficient way to support Kingham Primary School.

Why?

Because if you pay tax we can claim gift aid on your donation, increasing its value by 25% at NO additional cost to you. Plus, the full value of your donation goes directly to benefit pupils, there are no costs or expenses as there are with events or sales.

If you are a higher rate tax payer you may also offset a proportion of your donation against your income tax.

What for?

Your donation will always be used to enhance education at KPS. We support learning across all classes with workshops, class grants for resources, and funding for productions and events within school.

KPSA fundraising and your generous donations have been used to fund..

new technology classroom over the last two years We have fundraised to build a new classroom which will be a STEM (Science, technology, engineering and math) resource. The project cost £40,000 and will be built summer 2024. 

The staying connected appeal was a great success and we bought 30 new ipads to replace the obselete machines in school, plus an apple TV for each classroom.

Provide extra resources for every class We provide a grant each year, to be used at the teacher's discretion to provide extra equipment and topic related resources appropriate to each class. The money is ring-fenced for Enhancing Education. It isn't used as part of the general school budget for staff or maintenance. This is now increased to £420 per class.

Support arts, drama and sport - KPSA grants cover all the expenses for school plays and christmas productions. We bought new musical instruments and cameras to aid with art projects outside. We also bought playground games and sports equipment for breaktimes. We also allocate funds each year for a whole school workshop.

Outdoor Learning we paid for the refurbishment of the school garden, which has been redesigned by pupils at school. In 2019 we fully resourced outdoor learning so students can make the most of the forest area, pond and outdoor classroom.  

In previous years the KPSA have provided new IT equipment and chrome books, a school library, the wooden outdoor classroom and even the school hall!

Your regular support is really important. For example, if every family gave £15 a month (thats 50p) a day, we would raise over £30,000 each year, after gift aid had been reclaimed. This would be transformative.

All gifts, of any size, make a difference. Please consider making a regular donation to enhance the learning and opportunities we are able to offer to all.

Why give on a regular basis

This is the most sustainable and efficient way to support the school. It allows us to plan for the longer term knowing that parents are donating regularly, which will mean that we can increase grants to class teachers and they can plan activities knowing that they have additional funds for resources. It is also a more manageable and convenient way for families to support the school in the immediate and long term. 

Please note: The value of your donation is always confidential, only the KPSA treasurer will deal with individual donations. We would however, like to thank those who give and recognise you as a 'Friend of Kingham Primary School. If you prefer however, you also chose to donate and remain anonymous.

Regular gifts are set up by direct debit using the links above. They are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee and can be amended or stopped at any time. Standing orders are set up with your bank and are fully in your control.
