At the October 2019 AGM Helen, Nicky and Carol will be stepping down from the roles of Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer respectively. These roles are required for the continuation of the HSPTA and as such we need people to take over.
The roles of Chair and Vice Chair and the allocation of duties for these can be tailored to whoever comes forward. Currently, we have a traditional Chair/Vice Chair split with the majority of the day-to-day running of the HSPTA being done by the Chair and the Vice Chair providing backup and support (generally over coffee!). However, in the past we've had two co-Chairs with no Vice Chair and the duties have been spread more evenly. It depends on the situation and preferences of those involved.
The Treasurer role can also be shared between two people, or done by one person depending again on the preferences on those involved.
We will be providing more information about what exactly the roles involve but in the mean time if you're interested please get in touch at info@hspta.co.uk. Note that a show of interest does not equate to a firm commitment!!!
