Ruth Crocker has very kindly offered to run a drama and performance workshop, a 'Play in a Day', for year 1 pupils on Sunday, 9th December at the school. A mother of a child in year 1, Ruth has run many youth drama summer schools at Universities and Theatres, alongside her job as a Television director.
The workshop will run from 9am - 4.15pm, with a performance at 4pm to parents and carers to give the children a chance to showcase the skills they have learnt and the fun they have had during the day.
The cost of the workshop is £18.00 per child, with all proceeds going to the School PTA.
Please could children bring a packed lunch, snacks (no nuts please) and water for during the day. Children need to wear comfortable black or dark clothing with no noticeable logos. We may also need the children to bring in other props/costumes, but we will notify parents/carers nearer the time.
Numbers are limited to 30 so please apply early to avoid disappointment.
Unfortunately we don’t have any future events planned at the moment.
There are currently no tasks to volunteer for
The primary aim of our PTA is to raise money to enhance the education of the children at Heron Way Primary School. We also aim to provide fun and entertaining events for the children (and their parents/carers) and help build a community at the school.
