Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Information we may collect from you
- You must register with us in order to purchase products from our shop. When you register it will allow us to personalise our services and offer you some additional benefits.
- If you do register, you are responsible for protecting your password and user name and must not share them with or disclose them to anyone else.
- When you register, the basic personal information about you which we may collect and process is: your name; your e-mail address; your telephone number and password. Depending on what you are registering for, additional information may be collected from you.

If PTA Events and Granton Primary School PTA chooses to employ the services of a third party it will inform you, but the change will only apply in relation to information which we collect from you after we have informed you of the change. We will not disclose any information we have already collected about you without your consent, other than where required to do so by law, Granton Primary School PTA will control and be responsible for the use of your personal information.

How secure is the PTA Events site?
The security of your personal information is very important to us. All personal information that you supply to us either in respect of yourself or other individuals in connection

We capture certain information such as your name, email address, telephone number over a secure link using recognised industry standard techniques which encrypt the data while travelling
over the internet. We do not store any transactional credit card data and do not pass any of your customer information on to Paypal for payment processing.

to help assure you that the website you access is the PTA Events website. This is done using a service run by www.globalsign.com, a
highly trusted, internationally recognised certificate authority and a well known certification system technology provider. When you access certain pages which involve the transmission of confidential information
over the internet, your browser will be provided with an electronic certificate confirming that you have accessed our site and these communications between you and us will be encrypted. In addition, similar
communications with banks, credit providers and suppliers will be encrypted. You are recommended to use the facilities of your browser to confirm which pages are secured in this way.
Firewalls are used to attempt to block unauthorised traffic to the servers and the actual servers are located in a secure location that can only be accessed by authorised personnel.
We also aim to keep your information confidential. Our internal procedures cover the storage, access and disclosure of your information.
How secure is the PayPal site?
The PayPal site is highly secure. Paypal use industry-leading technology (such as SSL) to keep your information safe.
PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits
(the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to the PayPal site, our server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.
Once your information reaches the PayPal site, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. PayPal servers sit behind an electronic firewall and
are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorised computers.
