Fundraising figure for the Party at the Park revealed

We are delighted to announce the fundraising total for the Party at the Park was a phenomenal £4,525.53!

Thank you so much to everyone who supported the event, by booking circus skills or magic show tickets, buying raffle tickets or simply coming along and enjoying the atmosphere and music. Extra special thanks to everyone who donated cakes or volunteered their time setting up, helping at the event or tidying up afterwards. Thanks as well to our sponsors; Mansell McTaggart, The Star Lingfield, Stones Family Butchers, EG Repairs, Vintage Flair and New Balance.

We couldn't have done it without you! These funds will make a huge difference to the ongoing playground improvement project and the playtimes of the children at Halsford Park.

Pupils benefit from PTA funding

Since the start of term, we are thrilled to have been able to fund a set of SATs revision books for each Y6 child. We have also donated funds to cover half of the cost of first aid training for years 2, 4 and 6. Learning first aid is such an important life-skill and will enhance the education of the children in these year groups.

Funding for SATs books and first aid training is part of the PTA's committed spend each year, so children that don't benefit this year, will benefit as they move through the school.
