About Us
All parents/carers and staff are automatically members of The Friends of Bishop Gilpin (FOBG). FOBG fundraises to buy things that the school budget cannot afford.
The Committee meets twice a term to decide on fundraising activities and also on how to spend the money raised. All parents are welcome to come along to meetings.
Please come back and visit the website for up-to-date info on our events and fundraising.
Fundraising
We aim to raise upwards of £80k, We typically support a wide range of projects every year, in consultation with the Head & the school. Last year, we supported : the BG library, Rainbow Day, a range of workshops, the art project, the pantomime, new musical instruments, the mud garden, and purchasing specific items to support each year group, selected by the class teachers. We have even bigger ambitions to support the school this year, and we’d love your help! Want to know more? Have some fundraising ideas? Come and join us at our next committee meeting!
