On arrival to the AGM, a glass of prosecco will be on hand, followed by a short overview from FOBG of how the funds that parents have raised over the last school year have been spent. Come along and see why FOBG fundraising is so vital to our children and the school.

QUIZ
The Quiz will start at 20:00.

The ticket price is £17 per person + PayPal fee of 1.4% + 20p per transaction.

Our wondrous resident quiz master, Emily Jones, once again is going to come up with some fantastic questions to challenge you all!

Tables are arranged in teams of up to 10. Parents can sit anywhere unless teams have reserved a table. If you wish to reserve a table can you get your team captain to email jo_whelan@hotmail.com – please note, it is up to you to arrange your team. Tables are a maximum of 10 people. We will be setting out 14 tables of 10.

With over 100 people expected if you have space at your table and someone asks to join you, please let them. It is a fun packed, very sociable event and the only way to fit everyone in.

There will be a short interval in the middle of the quiz and we will do a 'Heads & Tails' Game. The winner will receive £50 and the rest of the money will be donated to Mabale. Please remember to bring your £1 coins if you wish to participate (rules will be explained on the night). There will be a labelled glass on your table for your £1s to be collected by FOBG.

Fundraising

Every year, we aim to raise upwards of £30k, which goes towards providing facilities and equipment to advance the education of all children at the school. How this is spent each year will vary, however typically the FOBG will allocate circa £12k to the library; plus £2k to support workshops for the children and a further £2,500 for art resources.

Other funding will vary. The school will put forward funding requests, which are voted on by the committee. In the past funding has been allocated to items such as the music pod, front of school redesign, playground refurbishments and equipment.

Want to know more? Have some fundraising ideas? Come and join us at our next committee meeting!
