LAST DAY FOR ORDERS!!!

God rest ye merry gentlemen,

let nothing you dismay

For to buy an FOBG Christmas tree

You still have one last day....

These Christmas trees are of very good quality, priced competitively and from a reputable supplier who we have used for a number of years.

The trees will arrive at school on Friday the 7th of December 2018 and will be ready for collection at school between 3pm to 7.30pm.

Although delivered to school in early December they do last a long time, especially if watered and left outside for as long as possible before putting up.

The trees come in 3 sizes

3-4ft tree @ £30

5-6ft tree @ £40

6-7ft tree @ £50

Trees will be organised into groups and you will be asked to show your receipt upon collection (either online or hard copy) to ensure you get the tree size you have ordered.

Please note that collection of trees is on a first come first served basis and we regret we cannot offer refunds or replace with an alternative tree. Please note that if you don’t arrive by the deadline, your tree will be left in the school grounds over night at your own risk.

Fundraising

Every year, we aim to raise upwards of £30k, which goes towards providing facilities and equipment to advance the education of all children at the school. How this is spent each year will vary, however typically the FOBG will allocate circa £12k to the library; plus £2k to support workshops for the children and a further £2,500 for art resources.

Other funding will vary. The school will put forward funding requests, which are voted on by the committee. In the past funding has been allocated to items such as the music pod, front of school redesign, playground refurbishments and equipment.

Want to know more? Have some fundraising ideas? Come and join us at our next committee meeting!
