FAQ

As a parent or guardian at The Croft, you automatically become a member of The Croft Parents Association (CPA).  The CPA is set up to primarily provide a social strand to life at The Croft and is one of the many reasons The Croft community is such a special one.  Alongside providing fantastic events across the year for children, families and parents, we also manage the NNUS and fundraise for enhancement projects within school and to support our chosen charities.

The CPA has a committee of parents who oversee and manage the activities and finances of the CPA.  They are supported by a number of Class Reps who filter down information to every parent in the school to ensure inclusivity.  We are also well supported by a volunteer bank who help out at ad hoc events as and when required.

The CPA is currently supporting Northleigh House School and Evelyn's Gift.  Every two years, the CPA committee requests nominations of charities from the parent body for consideration.  We vote based on a number of criteria including; connection to school, locality, relevance to children and the size of the charity to ensure any donations made by us can make a real difference.

A key aim of the CPA is to ensure our children have the most amazing time at The Croft, it is, after all, the reason we chose to send our children here!  The committee, in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team, assesses a number of ideas as to how the funding set aside for enhancement can be spent.  These are ideas that go above and beyond the provision we expect to be provided by school – they are the cherry on top of the icing on top of the cake so to speak!  Examples of recent enhancements include The Croft Cabin down in forest school to encourage more outdoor learning across the curriculum in all age groups, STEM activity days and inspirational guest speakers, the fantastic new playground equipment in the Pre-Prep Playground, the Year 6 Leavers Bus and much more.

The NNUS (Nearly New Uniform Shop) forms an important part of the CPA and over the years has become an invaluable asset to parents.  The NNUS accepts donations or items for resale where a proportion of the money comes back to you once an item is sold.  Where uniform is donated, 100% of the resale price goes back into our fundraising pot.

If you wish to bring items to the shop for resale, please download the form here, pin a label to each item and drop off at anytime inside the door to the NNUS.  For guidance on pricing, please see here.  Likewise, donations can be left inside the door at anytime.

The NNUS can be found adjacent to the main office and more or less opposite the entrance of the pre-prep playground.

Current opening times are every Wednesday from 8.45am to 9.15am.

Card payments are now accepted in the NNUS.

The CPA is proudly inclusive and welcomes anyone who wishes to be involved. Whether as a committee member, a class rep, an event volunteer, by donating uniforms or goodies for cake sales, or as a guest spending money at our events - all support is greatly appreciated!!

In addition or instead, you van hugely support the CPA and our charities via our easyfundraising page.  Easyfundraising cost you nothing, the CPA will receive a donation each and every time you shop online at a wide variety of shops.

There could be many reasons why you didnt receive an order confirmation email from us.

Firstly, please first check your spam or junk mail folder to check it hasnt been filtered in there.

Secondly, please ensure you add to your contact list or safe sender / white list.

Finally, if you are using an email service provider such as Hotmail or AOL please be advised that they restrict the volume of messages that can be received from a sender and therefore you should download your tickets from "My Account" section of the Croft Parents Association website.

Yes. Please ensure you print your tickets so they can be scanned on entry to the event. Each ticket has a unique QR code on it which identifies you. We use sophisticated scanning technology which seamlessly synchronises scanned tickets to a central database. This way we can ensure that tickets are not fraudulently used multiple times and therefore we can keep your ticket price down.

If you purchased products that showed a QR Code you should have received an order confirmation email from Croft Parents Association using the following email address: .

In the email is a PDF attachment containg all your tickets. Unfortunately, the IOS mail app has issues rendering PDFs so although you can see an attachment icon you cant actually see the PDF. You can download a copy of your tickets from the "My Account" section of the website or alternatively, download the email to another device as youll need to print them off to be scanned on entry.
